Celebrities Who Juice

Juicing is very popular with celebs. Celebrities, as everyone knows, are obsessed with their bodies and the way that they look. They also want to stay healthy looking for a long as possible. This is why the crash dieting that was popular in the 1970s is no longer as prevalent as it used to be. Crash dieting makes you skinny, but it doesn’t give you a great body. You deplete yourself of vital nutrients which can cause your skin to have a bland look. In addition to lacking nutrients, you are also basically starving your self. There’s a whole science behind why starving is bad for weightloss (it has to do with shutting down the metabolism and cannibalizing muscle). So rather than a tone, fit body with a youthful glow you end up with a pallid complexion, an untoned skinny fat physique, and a lack of energy.

Fresh juicing on the other hand gives you tons of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidents, enzymes, and energy. Here are a bunch of celebs who go the healthy route and include fresh juices in their diet.

Ryan Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest started to be called the “new Dick Clark” because he hosted New Years Eve, and seemed to never stop working. He hosts multiple shows, both radio and television. Part of what makes him capable of working seemingly non-stop is a diet that includes kale juice.

There’s a great clip of him talking about his daily green juice with pop star Selena Gomez. He even let her taste it. She didn’t seem to like it! Of course, it was not chilled and someone who is not used to drinking leafy green juices might not like them at first, but one you learn how to make them taste good (like including lemons and apples) then they actually taste pretty great.

In an interview with the New York Times he talked about his morning routine which involves meditating, a leisurely bike ride down the west side or a stroll around Soho, and then a green juice at Liquiteria (that’s a NYC based juice store.)

In order to prep for the staring role in The Shallows (where she was in a bikini for most of the film) she worked out 5 times a week. Lively is also a fan of green detox juices and smothies.
